We know that no two applications are the same, as such each application is assessed on its' own merits taking into consideration:

  • Variety's funding capacity at the time of assessment
  • Number of dependents in the household
  • Geographic location – rural and remote areas
  • The availability of and access to local opportunities and services
  • Additional financial pressures (e.g. medical, disability-related, or caring responsibilities)

Please do take the time to put together an application that:

  • Clearly and concisely defines what the need is, and
  • Includes sufficient information and supporting documents such as quotes and support letters from an appropriate professional person that directly discusses and focuses on what the child’s or organisation's needs are.
